RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY

Overview

At LAVIYE, we take pride in creating high-quality African-inspired pieces. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

Please note that all approved returns are issued as store credit only. We do not offer refunds to the original payment method.

Please note that due to the printed & patterned nature of African fabrics, fabric placements may vary from the pictured item. While we strive to make each item exactly as seen in photos, we have no control over this.

We are unable to make changes to orders once they have been placed on our system. To ensure that your package is properly delivered, please make sure that your address is entered correctly and includes all relevant information. The use of correct abbreviations, street numbers, building or apartment numbers, and route information (if applicable) are critical to ensuring delivery. LAVIYE does not take responsibility for lost, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments if the address information provided at checkout is incorrect.


Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unused, free of stains, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.

  • All original tags and packaging must be intact.

  • If your order includes free shipping, this will be deducted before issuing a store credit.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom or made-to-order pieces

  • Sale or discounted items

  • Gift cards

  • Items marked as final sale

  • For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of masks, filters, Swimwear and jewellery.


Exchanges

We offer exchanges for:

  • Damaged or defective items

  • Wrong item received

To request an exchange, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.


Return Process

  1. Contact our customer service team at customerservice@laviye.com with your order number and reason for return.

  2. Once your request is reviewed, we will send you a returns slip and detailed return instructions.

  3. Ship the item back to the address provided.

Please note:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

  • We recommend using a tracked shipping service.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved returns will be issued as store credit only.

  • Store credit will be processed within 5–7 business days.

  • Store credit can be used toward any future purchase on our store.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.


Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue. We will resolve this as quickly as possible.
